Ingredients

  • 8 oz goat cheese log
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • olive oil drizzle
  • fresh chopped basil or parsley optional

Garlic Naan Cheese Bread

  • 1 2-pack Garlic Naan Bread
  • olive oil drizzle
  • garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
  • fresh chopped parsley optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Slice goat cheese log into thin 1/4"-1/2" rounds. Arrange them in a shallow baking dish, such as an oven safe pie plate. Reserve 1-2 goat cheese rounds for the top. Pour marinara over the top of the goat cheese. Dollop small pieces of the remaining goat cheese on top of the marinara. Bake for 20 minutes or until warm and bubbly. After baking, turn the oven on broil to brown the top slightly, for about 2 minutes, watch closely to avoid burning.

  3. While the baked goat cheese cools slightly, prepare the garlic naan. Up the oven temp to 400 degrees. Place naan on a baking sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder. Sprinkle with fresh grated parm and parsley. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until warmed through and cheese is melted.

  4. Slice garlic naan into wedges, and serve with baked goat cheese.

Recipe Notes

Use whatever your favorite marinara is, or even make your own if you've got a favorite recipe. If you can't find naan bread, any dip-able bread would be great like a sliced baguette, focaccia, or ciabatta.
