Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Rinse and trim asparagus. Where the stem naturally breaks is where you want to trim off the woody ends. Arrange the asparagus on a baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with lemon-pepper seasoning, and toss to coat. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for 8-9 minutes and serve immediately.
I've also chopped them up and cooked them in a skillet over the stove with a little olive oil, just as good!
