Holiday Punch

If you’re looking for a classic, refreshing beverage to make for the upcoming holidays then this Holiday Punch is perfect for you! It’s simple to make, and can be made ahead of time so it’s ready to pop out of the fridge when guests arrive. Festive flavors of apple and cranberry make for a tasty bevy!

I love the idea of this Holiday Punch because EVERYONE can enjoy it. Kids, non-drinkers, and adults who want to kick it up a notch. As written the bubbly comes from the ginger ale and/or club soda. The bubbles just add that refreshing effervescence of a great drink.

I serve this in a large glass pitcher so that you can see the colorful garnishes of cranberries, citrus, and apples. If you’re making a double batch, a larger beverage dispenser would be perfect.

My friends over at Pairs Well With have sent over some fabulous ideas on how to swap out the ginger ale for all things sparkling wine! First up is a Brut, or Brut Nature. Brut Nature has zero sugars which is perfect for this Holiday Punch. The sweetness of the juices, with the dryness of the Brut make it the perfect pairing!

Next, Cava which is a sparkling wine from Spain. And finally, Prosecco from Italy. Find your fav, and top off your Holiday Punch with some sparkling bubbles!

Don’t forget to save this one for your December holidays as well. Looking for another great cocktail? Try my Pear Ginger Martinis! They’ve got great ginger spice with pear vodka and a hint of sweetness, a little too good!

Cheers!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider 100% juice
  • 2 cups cranberry juice 100% juice
  • 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice 100% juice
  • 2 cups ginger ale or sparkling wine/champagne

Optional garnishes

  • Fresh cranberries
  • Orange slices
  • Apple slices

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, stir together apple cider, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice. Chill until ready to serve.

  2. Once ready to serve, add ginger ale or sparkling wine. Pour into glasses with ice, and garnish with fresh cranberries, apples, and oranges.

Recipe Notes

An easy way to serve this is to pour into individual glasses BEFORE adding the ginger ale, leaving enough room for the ginger ale or sparkling wine/champagne. That way everyone can decide if they want alcohol or non-alcohol.

Another non-alcoholic option would be to do part soda water and part ginger ale to cut the sweetness, but still have the refreshing bubbles!
