Cajun Spice Blend and Rub

Raise your hand if you have a messy, cluttered spice cupboard?! I definitely did! Cleaning it out and organizing was a task that was on the list for a while and I finally did it over the holiday weekend. What better way to use up some spices than to make your own blends? Granted fresh is best…so if you’ve got some seriously old spices you’re better off dumping them unfortunately.

This Cajun blend uses 10 common spices that you may already have on hand! It’s great for all sorts of veggies, proteins, soups, you name it! Making your blends allows you to control the sodium, and there are no extra fillers, MSG, or added sugar that you sometimes find in store bought blends.

So easy, and great to have on hand to bring big flavors to dishes without added calories!

Try my BBQ Seasoning and Rub on a pork roast or ribs, and my favorite, sweet potatoes!
